Thomas Hedberg, Jr. is a managing partner of The Hedberg Group, LLC. He oversees all activities related to engineering and technology services offered by the firm. Dr. Hedberg, Jr. has over 15 years of engineering and manufacturing experience, specializing in aerospace applications. He helped Honeywell develop a strategy and implementation of Model-Based Enterprise in Honeywell’s engineering operations. Dr. Hedberg, Jr. is the Chair of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Model-Based Enterprise (MBE) Standards Committee and a Voting Member of the Y14.37, Y14.41, and Y14.41.1 subcommittees from the ASME Y14 suite of standards. Dr. Hedberg, Jr. earned a Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, a M.Eng. in Engineering Management with a concentration in Systems Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University, and a B.S. in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University. Dr. Hedberg, Jr. is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the States of Arizona and Maryland.
